Artist Bio

Lisa is a visual artist based near Ballarat in Central Victoria. Her
artworks are created primarily in oils, but also gouache, pastels,
charcoal, silverpoint and graphite.

She takes inspiration from nature and the human form, encompassing
the genres of portraiture, the figure, still life and landscape art. Lisa
has exhibited locally and internationally, and has several times been a
finalist in Art awards. Her works are held in private collections in
Australia and overseas.

Lisa has a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) from The Victorian College of
the Arts (Melbourne University), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Art
& Craft) and an Associate Diploma in Finished Art.

When I heard about the important work that Possum Portraits do, I
was honoured to be invited to join the team.

Art for me is a kind of meditation, a place where I find inner peace.
I hope that peace is translated into my drawings and will give
grieving families an opportunity to remember their angel baby, and
help to ease the pain that they are experiencing.
